I recently had the pleasure of taking the New York State Firearm safety course with C&M Defensive.
Over the years I have taken a number of these classes as I'm licensed in 8 states to conceal carry. Never before have I felt compelled to write a review however this course was head and shoulders above any other I have taken. Claude and Michael provide a comfortable and inviting atmosphere in which to learn. Their knowledge, expertise and special brand of humor is unsurpassed as they managed to keep everyone engaged for 16 hours. The class contained students of all different levels of experience yet everyone in the class felt the lessons were specifically tailored for their needs.
I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to get a CCW or just purchase a firearm in NYS.

I sought them out to receive government approved training needed for certification.
They delivered on all the required components but SO MUCH MORE! They care about making you safe not just about collecting fees.
My experience for the last couple of decades has been out of the areas of self-defense so I might qualify as worse than uninitiated.
Of course, they present the required curriculum. The real driver for my positive review is how they meet AND EXCEED their obligation. Without wasting time and without feeling rushed, they proceeded to efficiently deliver the class every practical interactive way possible with all the professionalism needed. The most satisfying aspect of this informative and necessary training class is that I came away with the sense that close family, perhaps caring uncles, delivered the sessions for my personal welfare. If you seek what they provide, I urge you to get it from them!

NYS CCIA 18 Hour pistol Permit License class. Our certificate is accepted in Orange, Sullivan, Ulster, Dutchess, and Westchester Counties. and many more throughout New york state including new york city
We offer an approved New York State CCIA 18 Hour concealed carry & Premises only pistol permit license class. This is the class you will need to obtain a pistol license in New York State.
The required training is offered by Certified NRA pistol instructors.
This class is all inclusive , range time, ammo, targets, and all equipment is included.

New Jersey NON Resident Civilian Concealed Carry Course
This NON resident New Jersey Civilian Carry Assessment and Range Evaluation course is required by the New Jersey State Police for all New York State Residents that have a NYS concealed carry pistol permit and are looking to apply for a NON resident NJ pistol license.
The required training is offered by Certified NRA pistol instructors.
MANDATORY
A NYS Concealed Carry Pistol Permit License is mandatory for this training Course.
